For my next blog I'll write about something that in my opinion is both headbanging awesome, and also is very close to my heart:
Heavy Metal.
Heavy Metal.
Heavy Metal is a genre of music that isn't really a genre, it's more of a lifestyle, or a mindset.
It's a way to express yourself, wether you're in a band or just a fan.
The subject of heavy metal will come up later on in this blog, so for now I want to talk about a band.

CHASING NEVERLAND
So, a while ago some friends of mine called Chasing Neverland released both their debut album and a musicvideo for their "lead single" of sorts. They play what some would call "metalcore", "posthardcore", "screamo-core", "modern-metal-hard-core" or any other kind of ridiculous sub-genre ending with the word "core".
I prefer to call them just Metal.
They started out in 2012, as a project amongst friends, to play heavy music and have some fun.
They had no idea what they started! Since then, they've been on a journey through all of scandinavia, and have had their music played on radio both here, and in the U.S and A.
Last fall they realesed, as stated above, their debut album, through such venues as Spotify and iTunes.
They also shot their first music video, for the song "Hollow Eyes", shot and directed by my friend Lucas Englund.
So, go check them out, bang your head and have some fun! You will not be dissapointed!
